Printing multiple cards per page
Business cards are 3.5 × 2 inches. A standard sheet fits up to 10 cards:
- A4 (210 × 297 mm) — 10 cards fit with 2 columns × 5 rows
- US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) — 10 cards fit with 2 columns × 5 rows
- 4-up or 8-up — fewer cards, more spacing between them for easier cutting
Choose a layout above. The preview shows exactly what will print. Cards are separated by a small gap so you can cut with a paper trimmer or scissors.
Recommended paper
- 350 gsm cardstock — standard business card weight
- 300 gsm — lighter, easier to feed through home printers
- Matte finish — feels premium, no fingerprints
- Gloss finish — more vibrant colors, shows smudges more
For professional results, print at a local shop or online service. For personal use, home printing on cardstock works well.
Cutting tips
- Use a paper trimmer, not scissors — cleaner edges
- Cut along the gap between cards, not through the card design
- Test one page first, then batch the rest
- For rounded corners, use a corner punch after cutting
What makes a business card work
- High contrast — light on dark, or dark on light
- One accent color
- Five to seven elements maximum
- Name largest, everything else smaller
- Print-safe margins — nothing important within 0.15 in of the edge
